Overview
A structured capability maturity assessment that evaluates how well your organization identifies, prioritizes, executes, measures, and sustains improvements across IT services and business operations. It measures the maturity of your improvement program itself - not just whether you improve, but whether you improve systematically. 54 questions across 9 capability domains. Written for the CSI Manager who needs to answer: do we have a governed, measurable improvement program, or do we just fix things when they break and call it continuous improvement?
Detailed Description
Most organizations improve reactively - fixing what broke, responding to complaints, and running one-off projects when budget allows. A mature CSI capability transforms improvement from an occasional activity into a managed, measurable, and self-sustaining program. This assessment evaluates nine capability domains that together determine whether your organization can identify improvement opportunities systematically, prioritize them objectively, execute them effectively, prove they delivered value, and sustain gains over time. It examines the governance structures that give improvement authority and funding, the cultural conditions that encourage participation, the analytical rigor that ensures you solve root causes rather than symptoms, and the technology that makes the program scalable. The assessment produces a maturity profile showing where your improvement capability is strong and where it needs investment, along with a prioritized roadmap for advancing each domain. By repeating the assessment biannually, you can demonstrate to leadership that your improvement capability is itself improving - proving the concept at the program level.
